Everyone has a dream, sometimes a few. Our imagination draws them to us, not letting us stop at what has been achieved, forcing us to move forward all the time. If people did not know how to dream, the bulk of inventions would not see the world. We would have stayed at the initial stage of development. And thanks to dreamers and fantasists, the human race has reached the level that we have now.
Often, when I go to bed, I dream. Different things: long journeys, superpowers, how to master some unusual profession – for example, a wild animal trainer. All these dreams are unfeasible, I realize it, but I’m still interested in dreaming.
My main dream is not to lose loved ones. I cherish my family very much and I am afraid that one day one day some of them will not become in my life. Such thoughts make me sad, and then I imagine that we will always be together.
I don’t know if I can call it a dream, but I really want to get a dog. Mom says it’s too much responsibility and that the dog takes a lot of time, but I’m still hopeful that someday I’ll have a Husky puppy. These dogs are very smart and beautiful. Sometimes it seems to me that they are almost like people. Everybody understands, but they can’t say. Maybe when I grow up, I’ll start it myself.
A friend of mine told me that he wanted to become a captain of long distance sailing. He is attracted to distant lands, the sea and adventure. In my opinion, this is a very dangerous profession, and I would never dare to do that. But everybody has their dreams and probably one day he will really leave the shore, standing on a white ship, and become a real sea wolf.
Of course, I would like all our dreams to come true, but some of them must remain dreams.
